Business card marketing and networking
Marketing with business cards is something that you should always be doing. One way to think about this is wherever you are, you can be marketing and promoting your business or products with business cards. All you have to do is talk to people. You ask them about what they do, and they ask you about what you do. Then you can lead the conversation to offering to hand out your business card to them, or exchange business cards. And, of course, your website or product destinations will be on your website, and then might visit your website or recommend it to friends. This way you can always do business card marketing whether you are at business networking events, or flying on an airplane, or at a party. Just don't be too pushy with your business cards.
Flier marketing
Marketing your business with flyers is a common and popular strategy. But it isn't simple to execute well because there is a cost to this strategy, and that cost is the printing of flyers and hiring someone (or spending your own time) standing on the street and giving the flyers out. For that reason, you must be careful to whom you hand out your fliers, and how much resources you devote to this strategy before you can tell whether it is paying off. There are a few tips to find success with flyer marketing. The first is to print the flyers in an attractive and cost effective way. The second is to give the flyers out to your target market, and the third is to have a way to determine if a client came to your business because they saw it advertised on a flyer.
Door to door marketing
Door to door sales is another important offline marketing tactic, and in this part of the course I explain how to do door to door sales and marketing, and which businesses or products may be best suited to be promoted or sold via door to door marketing. This, of course, is not the easiest way to do sales, but it can be effective.
